Forno Boccione is located in the heart of Rome’s Jewish Ghetto, a kosher bakery renowned for its traditional specialties.
Unpretentious and without a sign, it can be found by following the aromas of cinnamon or candied fruit, sometimes accompanied by a long queue.
It offers excellent products such as pizza ebraica (Jewish pizza), a cake made with almonds, pine nuts, raisins, and candied fruit, as well as almond and cinnamon-based biscuits (biscottini), ricotta tarts with chocolate or cherries, etc.
In the morning, doughnuts are also available.
A must-visit.
