In the Trastevere district, Da Augusto is a family trattoria of Roman cuisine like made at home, with pasta (including traditional “rigatoni cacio e pepe” with peccorino cheese and pepper or the “amatriciana”), traditional Roman dishes of meat (“Abbacchio alla cacciatora” : lamb of the hunter, etc). Simple and efficient. No possibility to reserve. Better sometimes arrive early and sit on the terrace waiting for the service !!
Some dishes are offered only one day in the week: “baccalà” (cod) on Friday, gnocchi on Thirsday, Roman tripe on Saturday, etc.
